We have partnered with Tyler Cervania, the Program Coordinator with the Sacramento Regional Family Justice Center (F.J.C.), to introduce F.J.C.’s CA.T.C.H. Program and our summer camp, Camp HOPE for CSEC youth.
The Family Justice Center’s C.A.T.C.H. Program (Children And Teens Creating Hope) is a FREE year-round youth leadership program committed to inspiring new pathways to hope. This program is centered around evidence and a values-based curriculum to teach youth to believe in themselves, believe in others, and believe in their dreams. It includes three key attributes – monthly hope activities, youth trauma therapy, and summer camp (Camp HOPE), which are dedicated to enabling and empowering youth to pursue their dreams and achieve their goals. (see attached “CATCH Program Flyer” for more information)
Camp HOPE America is the first evidence-based camping and mentoring program in the United States to focus on children and teens exposed to violence. Camp HOPE America’s mission is to give youth a brighter future by creating pathways to hope and healing. There will be a week of CAMP specific for CSEC youth.
F.J.C.’s C.A.T.C.H. program has open registration year-round. We would like your help to reach youth and their families for our program. Our goal is to create a safe and nurturing environment not only for the youth, but also for their families.
If there are families that you and your organization work with and you believe would benefit from our program, please share our program flyer and refer them to our program so we may create new pathways of hope together.
